Associates join Business Litigation, Real Estate Tax Assessment groups

New associates have recently joined Thompson Coburn's Business Litigation and Real Estate Tax Assessment groups.

Audrey Mense is an associate in the Business Litigation practice group in Chicago. Her practice areas include business and commercial torts, contractual disputes, and banking litigation. Prior to joining Thompson Coburn, Audrey practiced commercial and banking litigation at McCarthy Duffy LLP. She has also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Allen Goldberg in the Cook County Commercial Division, and as a legislative intern for Bearing Point in Pristina, Kosovo. She earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and obtained a B.A. in Spanish and French from the University of Kansas.

Shannon Sheehan practices in Thompson Coburn's Real Estate Tax Assessment practice group in Chicago. She has experience in the real estate assessment appeal process at all levels including assessors, Boards of Review, Circuit Court, and the Property Tax Appeal Board. Shannon has worked on complex real estate taxation issues with all types of properties. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago and obtained a B.A., cum laude, from DePaul University.
